It doesn't make sense to me why people go through all the trouble to send postcards that don't really say anything. So, I decided to design a sort of visual parody of that idea with the typical landscape of a postcard in the back and a lot of blank, vacuous space. The eyes, searching the postcard for some sort of meaning, lead up to the postage stamp which contains more substance than the text of the postcard itself.

Madeleine Filloux: postcard
It doesn't make sense to me why people go through all the trouble to send postcards that don't really say anything. So, I decided to design a sort of visual parody of that idea with the typical landscape of a postcard in the back and a lot of blank, vacuous space. The eyes, searching the postcard for some sort of meaning, lead up to the postage stamp which contains more substance than the text of the postcard itself.

The eyes of two different colors bring quite a lot of meaning to the postcard.
