#5- Madeleine Filloux: Jascha Heifitz plays Bach's Ciaconne

Art is a creation. In my opinion, the process of creating inherently reflects on the creator, because he cannot possibly make anything that exists outside the scope of his own reality. Thus, an artistic creation necessarily becomes a form of self-expression. I think that a good example of this is performing classical music. When an artist performs a piece, it automatically reflects who they are, because they frame the music within their own scope of thought.
My personal favorite is Bach's Ciaconne for solo violin. It is an incredibly difficult piece, yet a true artist (like Jascha Heifitz) can play it in a way that expresses his emotions and ideology. And the cool thing is that art like this is slightly different each time it is played based on the subtle changes in mood or character of the artist.
