#6-Jennifer Tanaka: Nam June Paik

Nam June Paik who was born in Korea, studied music at two universities (one in Japan and another in Germany). During his education he was inspired by electronic art and later was a part of the Dada art movement (or Fluxus as previously described in a post). Paik is well known for using televisions to create art. Whether he distorted images on television screens with the use of magnets or built robots or other figures, Paik creativity seemed almost infinite.

I found the image of the lady playing the cello made of televisions very interesting. The televisions that created the shape of a cello also displayed images of the lady playing the cello.
